Carolina Moehlecke

Welcome! I am an assistant professor at the School of International Relations at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV RI) in São Paulo, Brazil. My research focuses on the role of the private sector in the emergence and diffusion of both domestic and global regulations. I am also interested in the politics of foreign direct investment and in the political economy of the international investment regime. 

I hold a PhD in Political Science from the University of Texas at Austin (2019), a master's degree from the same institution (2017) and a bachelor's degree in International Relations from Centro Universitário La Salle (2014).  

Bem-vindo/a! Sou professora adjunta da Escola de Relações Internacionais da Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV RI), em São Paulo. Minha pesquisa foca no papel desempenhado pelo setor privado na criação e difusão de regulações domésticas e internacionais. Eu também tenho interesses relacionados à política do investimento estrangeiro direto e à economia política do regime de investimentos internacionais. 

Eu obtive meu doutorado em Ciência Política pela Universidade do Texas em Austin (2019), meu mestrado pela mesma instituição (2017) e meu bacharelado em Relações Internacionais pelo Centro Universitário La Salle (2014).
